I played Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia (ref: [link]) and realized that this is the game that I really want. Monster Madness is kinda fun but unlike ZAMN it gets really aggravating and unfun often. In fact it reminds me more of the disappointing sequel to ZAMN, Ghoul Patrol (ref: [link]), than it does ZAMN. If LucasArts and Konami could put out a faithful sequel to the original game that would be awesome.
Hell, I'd even pay 60$ for a straight up remake with minimal revision to the core gameplay.

I agree.... they should make a new ZAMN or at least remake the original somehow.
But a new one would be nice.
